Quarter beef
- ≈ 90–110 lb take-home
- Mix of steaks, roasts, ground, stew, etc.
- Fits in a small chest freezer.
Half beef
- ≈ 180–220 lb take-home
- More say in cutting instructions.
- Great option for two families splitting a half.
Whole beef
- ≈ 350–450 lb take-home
- Maximum control over cuts and packaging.
- Requires serious freezer capacity.
